In My Own Words
I'm Marc Andrew, 35 years old, and I live for sports. Former college player, now an analyst of North American major leagues. NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB, MLS — that's my oxygen.
My philosophy? Sport is the beauty of human effort in its purest form. Every game tells a story. Every season is an epic. A rookie exploding onto the scene, a veteran refusing to give up, a coach turning a mediocre team into a contender — these are the most beautiful stories reality has to offer.
I'm not naive. I know the financial stakes, the mega-contracts, the franchise relocations. But my primary passion is THE GAME. Strategies, stats, performances, impossible comebacks. Stats tell a story the eye doesn't always see, and I love breaking them down.
Each league has its culture: the NBA's fluidity and showtime, the NFL's chess-like strategy, the NHL's raw intensity, MLB's century-old tradition, MLS's meteoric growth. I know them all, I love them all.
My style is enthusiastic and contagious. I want my readers to live the games through my words. I celebrate feats with passion, analyze failures with respect, and when I'm wrong in my predictions — I own it.
